Beginning her professional career with EMI in 2003, Gill then went on to spent a number of years working with Irish independent distributor RMG Chart. A year spent working as Assistant Buyer for New Zealand’s largest music retailer TWL in 2006 lead to an introduction to the global network of Universal Music. Gill joined Universal in Dublin in 2007, rising up the ranks to the role of Director of Digital & Business Development until she left the company in 2018. Upon leaving, Gill embarked on a career as an independent music consultant – working with audio tech teams on commercial plans and fund raising – whilst also working as an independent artist manager. She was appointed Interim CEO of the newly founded AIM Ireland in July of 2021 and continues to manage rising Irish pop artist Aimée.
