IMPALA LAUNCHES NEW CLIMATE PROJECT CO-FUNDED BY THE EU

Later this month, IMPALA will be launching the first planned activities of its new Climate Training and Standards project IMPACTS. This EU funded project aims to build new climate literacy capacity for independent music companies across Europe to help them lower their carbon footprint.

The survey, prepared by our collecting society committee, aims to gather feedback from IMPALA’s members across Europe on how they rate their respective collecting societies.

BELGIAN COPYRIGHT LAW – ONE STEP FORWARD, TWO STEPS BACK

Today, the Belgian Federal Parliament adopted new rules implementing the 2019 Directive on copyright in the Digital Single Market. IMPALA, the European association of independent music companies, representing over 6,000 music SMEs across Europe, commented on the new rules.
